Petit Vour is a luxury vegan and cruelty free beauty subscription box that I found while randomly typing things in Google to see what ads popped up (PPC research, of course). Good thing Google always had my back, because it introduced a much-needed addition to my month: Petit Vour.
January's Petit Vour box definitely got me excited about all the great things to come this year!
The contents of the box were:
- Pacifica Beauty - Stellar Gaze Length & Strength Mineral Mascara
- KAIA Naturals - The Underarm Bar
- Le Prunier - Plum Beauty Oil
- Box Naturals - Cleansing Towelettes (Lavender + Cucumber Witch Hazel)
- BONUS: A freebie from Juice Beauty - Green Apple Cleansing Bar
An overview of the box:
- Everything is vegan & cruelty free
- Price is $18/mo depending on the option you choose
- Products are mostly trial/sample sizes, but by leaving reviews on the products in your box, you receive cash back to use on the full-sized product
- Delivered on/around the 20th of each month
I wanted to wait a bit to publish my review so that I could actually try all the products, which I did, and I loved them all!
Let's start with my favorite one first: Le Prunier Plum Beauty Oil
This Plum Beauty Oil not only smells delicious, but leaves my skin feeling so soft and moisturized throughout the evening. I have even added a drop or two to my day moisturizer for added hydration.
I will probably end up buying a full size of this product after I go through the one I already have because its so nice. Its literally just 100% Plum oil. Can't beat the natural goods.
Coming in #2 is the Pacifica Beauty - Stellar Gaze Length & Strength Mineral Mascara. Pacifica Beauty is already one of my favorite brands, so I was quite obviously excited to see I had one of their products in my box! I had actually just bought one of their mascaras a week earlier, so I switched between both, and I'd have to say the quality is great. No crazy clumping, and my eyelashes actually look full and long without looking fake.
My #3 would have to be the Box Naturals - Cleansing Towelettes, simply because there wasn't anything too special about them, but I loved the scents! The towels weren't the strongest/thickest ones I have had, but they smell great, and were safe enough to use on sensitive areas after a workout! I am thinking about getting a box of their Rose ones to keep in my gym bag. 🌹
Last but not least, my #4 pick is the KAIA - The Underarm Bar. While this wasn't bad my any means, I just didn't notice a difference enough to warrant a higher rating. This product was a full-sized bar (woo!), that has a hanging string to have in your shower. It is essentially a charcoal soap bar intended to detox your underarms in order to help your natural deodorant become more effective.
If you know me, you know I'm all about the natural stuff, but if you got close enough, you'd realize it does not favor me! I was super excited to try this because I have bought every natural deodorant on the market with no luck. But regardless, it felt nice on my armpits and the bar looks cool, so I will keep using it in hopes that it will gradually work with me!
As for the bonus gift, the Juice Beauty Green Apple Cleansing bar, I have yet to try it because I am weary of bar cleansers, but I can tell you it smells great! I have used Juice Beauty in the past as well and can say their products are great and they always use natural products.
Overall, I'd say the Petit Vour box for January exceeded my expectations (and the February box is just as good 😉).
Stay tuned for the February review!
